WHAT ARE YOUR COVID 19 HYGIENE POLICIES?

Following our re-opening authorized by the Cambodian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, DK Schoolhouse adheres to the following health and hygiene procedures:

1. All faculty members, students’ parents or visitors must wear a face mask while on school premises. We encourage students to wear reusable or washable face masks to both reduce waste & ensure better ventilation. Both campuses stock additional masks in case needed.

"Before entering, please sanitize your hands and allow our guards to check your temperature. Any temperature reads above 37.5c will not be permitted access on school grounds."

3. Upon entry, visitors, teachers and students should sign in with our facial recognition thermal scanners. Note: If your child is sick: e.g., has the flu and/or fever, is showing symptoms of illness, or seems generally unwell, please keep them at home. Our staff are not permitted to administer medication at school, and our policies require children who are sent home sick to self-quarantine for up to 14 days to ensure the health and safety of their classmates and the wider school community.

4. Safe social distancing is implemented, and small group learning is enforced. We use a designated pathway for entering and exiting all areas of school. Common areas, restrooms, classrooms and facilities are rigorously sanitized on a daily basis after use. We use an electric ULV Covid Sanitization Mist Machine and run daily hygiene spot checks for added security.

5. Each campus has a designated Nurses room that is quartered off and well removed from classrooms and other common areas.

6. While snacks & meals are served at school and children are permitted to send additional packed meals or snacks from home, we do not allow the sharing of snacks or food items amongst students.

* Note: Due to the current health climate, we do not accept walk-in visitations to classrooms, and request parents to book an appointment in advance if they would like to tour our facilities.
