Yes you've gotten your pack of printouts from school to go along with your child's week of daily lessons, but it still just doesn't seem to be enough.

Is your darling rascal is bouncing off the walls in impatience while you attempt to feed the baby, cook dinner and answer emails? That's the perfect time to dip into our collection of

Gotta Make A Selfie

These cute, retro style D.I.Y cameras are super easy to make and gives your child plenty of time to get creative. We love this easy tutorial Toy Cardboard Camera tutorial http://mollymoocrafts.com/diy-toy-cardboard-camera/

DIY SLIME

It’s ooey, it’s gooey and your kids are, or used to be, entirely obsessed with it: Slime!

In case you didn't know from the multitude of YouTube videos and channels dedicated to the magic substance, sime is officially one the hottest toys of the year. And lucky for moms and dads, it’s also incredibly easy to DIY. But did you know you could make a batch right in your very own kitchen without all those nasty chemicals? Try out this recipe from Pure Wow , or, make things even easier and use

BALLOON BADMINTON

You don't need a field or even have to worry about accidental bumps and bruises when playing this simplified version of badminton. It requires just four materials to create this game for your kids to play.

You'll need:

  1. Paper plate

  2. Popsicle stick (we used ones that were wider in size)

  3. Crayons (optional)

  4. Balloons

  5. Glue gun and/or Stapler

First, make two rackets by gluing a Popsicle stick on to the back of a paper plate. (You can also use a chopstick and cello tape if you're in a pinch.)

Allow them to dry / ensure that the handle is properly secured!

Blow up a couple of balloons and tie them off to use as shuttlecocks.

Find an open space and get busy batting your balloons back and forth.

Bonus point? You can use this activity to sneak in a little science too by trying this Surface Tension experiment.

Tea Party

Grab some stuffed animals, dolls or toys and head to the kitchen. Let your child get fancy and use their imagination by recycling old containers or condiment bottles as props. Make some fresh lemonade, or green tea and enjoy a little story time with your cuppa'.

If you haven't got time for the full set up, be sure to grab a copy of our printable paper dolls-- laminate them and keep to reuse again and again!
